Frequently asked questions
How do I set up this Sferra pad to get the most loft and a secure fit?
The Monmouth Mattress Pad uses elasticized sides to fit mattresses up to 20 inches deep, with a 10-inch sewn-through box construction to keep the fill evenly distributed and prevent clumping. For best results, smooth the pad over the mattress and ensure the elastic edges are snug and tucked under the mattress corners.
Which features help it stay comfortable year round without getting too warm?
The European white goose down provides light, breathable loft, while the 307TC cotton batiste shell creates a soft surface. Its breathable down fill helps cushion without excessive warmth, making it suitable for year-round use.
What makes this pad different from standard mattress protectors?
It uses high-quality down fill with 600+ fill power and a sewn-through box construction to keep the fill evenly distributed, delivering cloud-like cushioning with lasting loft rather than a flat layer.
Is this suitable for gifting and who would appreciate it?
Yes—its premium down fill and precise construction suit someone who values comfort and a soft, supportive sleep surface. The pad is designed for easy care and durable performance, making it a thoughtful gift for someone who prioritizes luxury bedding.
How should I care for this down-filled pad to maintain its loft?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Adding tennis balls during drying helps prevent clumping and maintains the loft over time.
